Created to Create

You were created to create! ✨

The very first verse in the Bible begins with creativity and creation. Genesis 1:1 reads, “In the beginning God created…” Creativity comes from God because He is the Creator!

Genesis also tells us that God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27). We are created to be creative, just like the One who made us.

Whether you are an athlete, a teacher, a writer, a painter, a pastor, a seamstress, a designer, a musician, a mother, a student, or an *insert your unique and beautiful talent/gifting here!*, we all have some level of creativity since we are all made in the image of God.

We glorify God through the things He equips and inspires us to make. And with the right heart posture, creativity becomes an act of worship.

Your gifts and abilities are unique to you. And they reflect the fingerprints of a God that is worthy of our worship beyond comprehension. Let your light shine! “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” -Matthew 5:16
